A few days ago, I was scrolling down my news feed when I suddenly stumbled upon this blog about traveling the world solo. It piqued my curiosity so I clicked on the link and started exploring the site.
*Think of shaking a bottle of soda and opening it abruptly.. BOOM!*
This blog reminded me about my passion to travel the world, not just to see the places but to actually live and experience these places. It reminded me of my love of teaching (its not as if I actually forgot, I am just putting it on the shelf for now). I am not as adventurous as one may think, so seeing photos and write ups about how to actually do it blew my mind. If I had only seen this ten years ago, I would have done this kind of thing. Fast forward to today, being happily married to the love of my life, it would seem a bit impossible to do this especially since the plans of a family is all up in the air. The next best thing is to look at blogs like this as an oasis amidst a heavy-loaded and hectic day and think that the best things in life are out there.
Full of admiration, I scroll up and click onto links, looking at her amazing photos, her life is an inspiration to me. It reminded me of the freedom to dream, to live that dream and to write about it. Hence, I decided to start up a new blog. The fire inside of me to live, to experience and to write is burning again oh so brightly and I can't wait for what life has for me.
This site is a spin off of my old blog, I didn't have the heart to delete everything that I have written there because it reminded me of how I was before. So this time, this site will be all about my life, as an explorer of life, as a wife, as a future mother, what I love, and what experiences I want to share with my future me, (just in case I forget).
